While it’s spring here, the weather has stayed cool enough for training. We’ve even had the wood furnace going !!

Sam, the pup we picked up in October is now harnessed broken and doing very well. The team is now back to our 1.5 mile trail as our neighboring farmer is just starting work in his fields.

Billie has started some lead dog work and Johnn hopes he’ll progress enough to run double lead with his brother Henry. Billie is quite pleased with the promotion and proud of himself.

We’ve been working on some sled repairs and parts. Arctic Star Sleds will be attending the Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club Meeting in Hazleton PA on May 30th and the International Sled Dog Racing Association’s meeting in upper Michigan at the end of June.
