We got a phone call yesterday from the folks organizing the New England Trade Fair held the first weekend in October in Hopkington, New Hampshire.

For the past few years Johnn’s been a speaker there on “Mushing 101″.  They want Johnn back, but have a new subject in mind. Some New Englanders have requested he speak on dryland equipment and training, specifically the bike & scooter.

This should be fun - I’ll change the hand-outs and I believe safety equipment should be a major part of the talk. We’ll definitely show participants the scars on Johnn’s shoulder armour. That alone should convince people to take care of themselves !

We’re now planning a Memorial Day weekend trip to New Hampshire to visit family. We’re picking up some sleds for repair along the way.

The dogs are still training as weather permits. Henry got to run lead this morning and was super excited  - just screaming with excitment. What a fun year it should be with the two young brothers - illie & Henry - who love to run lead and are great at it !
